Traditional approaches to strategic reviews of the availability and
use of Information and Communications Technology (ICT) in organisations
have tended to focus on supporting current ways of working and finding
a use for what is already in place.
But all organisations now operate in a world where there are continuous
pressures for improvements in organisational efficiency and effectiveness.
In the private sector these reflect the need to constantly improve
the products and services to be delivered, and how they are produced
and supplied, simply to stay competitive. In the public sector they
typically arise from new Government directives or standards.
The Kpeople approach is based firmly on looking first at how the
business can be improved. In some cases new technology is an enabler,
in that it allows new and better ways of working that were just not
possible before. In other cases new technology simply helps organisations
to do what they are already doing in a more efficient and effective
way.
To support our approach we have developed a full
range of services specifically designed to help organisations in identifying
opportunities for improvement at all levels.
